A Timeline of Prodholod-M's Journey
Each step of our journey brought us closer to the quality we are proud of today. We grew alongside our partners, embraced new technologies, and remained committed to the highest standards.
1999
A small family-run business was founded in a provincial town. In the first year alone, the company processed 240 tons of blueberries, actively exporting to Poland, Germany, and Italy.
2003
The company started its own cultivation. The first crop was Chinese cabbage, grown on 6 hectares of land. Yields reached 200–300 tons over 9 years, successfully sold in the domestic market.
2005
Product range expanded: in addition to wild blueberries, the company began harvesting blackberries and lingonberries.
2006–2009
A contract was signed with a Polish company to cultivate strawberries. Yields reached 10–15 tons per day, helping to strengthen the company’s market position.
2017
The company received FSSC certification and began complying with European production standards.
2019
The company gained Organic producer status and started exporting to new markets.
Today, We:
Operate on a 4200 sq.m. production area.
Process around 2700 tons of berries per year.
Employ over 70 specialists and seasonal workers during peak season.
Utilize 2 IQF freezing tunnels and a laser sorter.
Have our own fleet (7 refrigerated trucks), with full maintenance and fueling infrastructure.
Supply products to over 10 loyal clients in Poland, Germany, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Austria, and Slovenia.
